Spring has come, though with the snow over the weekend you would not know it. Spring always means one thing around this house - Baby Chicks! Here is our newest batch, fresh out of the eggs last Monday. An assortment of Americaunas and Barred Rocks.

Hello! Great to be back on line so I can visit you! I love your site (I am repeating myself, lol!) There is also a "skunky Acres" here about 18 miles from my home town and my daughter raised a baby squirrel from the time he was about a day old to half grown and she had to take him to them as he was getting so protective of her. So happy about your new chicks but guess they are at least half grown by now. I love coming here, love your posts, hope you keep it up, you make my day!! Sunny

Located at 6700 feet above sea level, Skunky Acre Farm is the home of farm fresh eggs, several different varieties of apples and cherries, with dogs, cats, and our two free range boys. We moved from the city to the country and are living the good, if not a little crazy, life.
