And They Lived Happily Ever After

Today is the day that I married my loving husband 17 years ago.

That is right 17 years !

Can you believe that one. I am a little unsure how I got so lucky as to marry the man of my dreams, a guy who shares all my goals and values at the tender age of 20, but I did. You may ask what wonderful plans we have for such and important day. Well, we are attending the Football awards banquet for pee wee football, and we have a kid with a fever. Sounds like a great way to celebrate to me.

1980 Has Left The Building

I am pleased to announce that the 80s have officially been chased from my home. You see my lovely master bath, the place where I go for a little quiet and some renewal, was stuck in 1980. It was all complete with wallpaper with little powder blue and pink flowers, oak cabinets, wooden towel bars, the works. You really can't blame the original decorator for it was in the 80's that that part of the house was added on. I am sure at the time it was picture perfect and a sight to see. Now , being 2008, it all seems a little dated and just not my style. In fact, it was not even my style in the 80's. So, yes, I have spent my weekend so far painting, peeling, and texturing and the results are beautiful so far. I will soon post pictures of the brothel bathroom ( as my husband is calling it), and I will leave you to ponder what exactly a brothel bathroom looks like. Just remember with me you never know.
